I'm so proud of room 108 for applying the observations they made about Paul Cezanne's paintings to their own art! They identified highlights and shadows in his still life paintings and then recreated highlight and shadow in their apples!

I did a whole series of paintings inspired by the amazing summer I spent a few years ago camping on Cezanne's Mte St Victoire.

"A few years ago" ....who am I kidding it has been a while since I looked as young as that!😁

A quick doodle of Cezanne's gear (minus legs; npacer au and trousers btw).

The sun irritates their sensitive skin so they wear masks and long-sleeved shirts. They overheat real quick playing turf so their most active times are late evenings and night.

Beep beep. It's Cezanne's birthday! The whole wrold should just stop and applaud. What a genius. Did extraordinary things in every genre - landscape. portrait, still-life. And he was as mad as a sack of ferrets. All hail Cezanne!
