I love that 's pokemon reviews are back and like a lot of people have pointed out that Meowscarada is Doronjo, but I think Bog might be the first anglophone to point out the yatterwan/skeledirge and Quagqaval/gan-chan connections, and I just had to share it.

Team Rocket is clearly a knock off of Doronjo, a series of villains who appear in several Tatsunoko animation. Same idea, they come in to steal from the hero, then get knocked out so hard fly out in space and lose their clothing.... Team Rocket doesn't show nudity.
