Dracovenator, found in South Africa, likely would’ve been among the largest theropods of its time. The fossils date back to the early Jurassic, roughly 200 mya.

Ignych is a combination of "Ignite" and the Greek word "Nychos" (Claw).

Nychos is based on Afrovenator, a Megalosaurid theropod that lived in Middle Jurassic period in Africa, hell even its name translates to "African Hunter". It also draws minor inspiration from Dracovenator.

A little late but here's Day 1 of
Dracovenator

A large theropod from the Elliot Formation, Dracovenator regenti lived in the early jurassic of South Africa being a major predator of the varied herbivores that existed in the region, including small sauropodomorphs and the minuscule ornithischians.

A close relative of the Dilophosaurus, this exotic predator is a vicious one. Dracovenator will eat pretty much any animal smaller than itself. Dracovenator’s bite is laced with a mild venom which becomes lethal in high doses delivered through repeated bites to the prey animal.
