Finally a Dragon Cobra Ready for Animation.
Lessons:
✔️ZRemesher in ZBrush
✔️Dynamesh
✔️Lower the vertices and polycount to be game optimized
✔️If character is for film you will need a super ultra powerful PC and GPU for maintaining high number of vertices
Work Hard!

All I want for my birthday (well not ALL I want but one of the important things) is to figure out a way for this to print properly...I'm probably going to have to individually dynamesh/shrinkwrap everything and get rid of those rosebushes because they're so thin.

Why is Zbrush's dynamesh giving me so many triangles now? It looks horridly uneven compared to when it used to try and keep things mostly quads.

straight from dynamesh babyyy

I keep it round kind of for a long time and then smash it down with hPolish once the flow is finalized

てんびん座ちゃんのスカルプト開始✨
いつもDynameshで粗めにラフ作ったらすぐZremesherかけて大ラフ作ってます

"Strike Zeta" shield is mostly done.
Details are added through Dynamesh and Live Boolean, should 3d print well!

Zbrush2022のDynameshの解像度ピッカー便利だな…作業してみると凄く重宝する。

thanks! usually what i do is blockout using dynamesh until the general shape is there. then use zremesher to get a base and then go in and refine

Of course! But to be clear, some meshes are really a mess, the still are a Dynamesh:

day 17: Flora! Cute little Dandelion knight. Still need to do cleanup, everything is just Dynameshed.. but, more or less done.

Yanfei's signed edict power, sculpting process, starting from base primitives to dynameshing and detailing afterward

一旦足を止めて思案中
今まで使いみちの思いつかなかったDynameshのProjectedモードってリメッシュ時に役立つかも?

thank you zbrush, this is exactly what i wanted when i hit dynamesh

Sculpting challenge day 2!

Today I learned:
✦ Joining meshes through DynaMesh
✦ Colour in the eyes
✦ All sculpts look terrible in the beginning 👻

My tip to you, practice and do what makes you happy

Wrapping up another with a stream cap! Got the hair and head all combined, added new eyes, and ended up redoing the skin cuz dynamesh and details don't go together 😅

From today's class.
It's my first step in the larger world of Dynamesh!
( Laugh it up, fuzzballs )
I'm probably going to keep working on this character.

sure! Its pretty straight forward, just a tad tedious. I start with just blocking it out and dynameshing a lot, then ill split out the different parts, zremesh them, add thickness, and set up polygroups so I can polish with them in deformation before I subdivide and sculpt

Here's another workflow tip I utilized to clean up a 3D scanned version of the David statue I found on https://t.co/ZPfyNzQNAZ just chop off some body parts from a daz character and dynamesh it back onto the statue. Easiest way to clean up the hands and feet.
