My heart is heavy
My spirit low
I’m struggling to find my way
I have faith and I will grow
And I’ll be okay
Some day

Words crashing to a halt
Lost in aesthetic saturation
blinding ignited
quiet glow
contacts of reason
shadow blooms iridescent
molten flow in crevices
slurping fluidic bliss

Sunlight through my window
She comes of apothecary
Vedma of Dracu souls
Gentle & loving light
surviving life’s toll
She spins darkened web
spits hexes to condemn
To me she comes, petite,
quiet, & w/much care
The demon & his angel
hidden beneath their glare

I opened my eyes
And peaked out
As the monster’s
Called out

I hid under the bed
But little did I know
There was portal below
To an reality it led

It followed me thru
A quick shake and a chew
There was one shoe on the step

I have to ask
all those who teach
the walk run
philosophy
What if all we do is wiggle?

You became my poetry
a nymph soaked in water & luv

the drops slipping in vain
from the alabaster slopes
reliving the taut beauty
every nano second of their stay

and the stroms of words
that follow
spill into my verse

Pockets heavy with dreams
collection of
encapsulated flight moments
Aerial swirl with a
mesmerizing trails of entwining glides
locked in quiet trance
gaze and ascending
float high in

I am the Shadow.

I comfort
the places
Light refuses
to touch

For though
Light is
warmth & truth

In the relentless
beating of Noon
the unflinching
hunting of Blaze

I am the Shade.

I am reprieve
I am the quiet
keeper of secrets
I am the thankless
healer of shame

They only come out
at night
under veil
of forbidden delights
emotions
that bloom alive
in darkness
incite my body
demented lecherous
awakenings
I am shackled
to full moon
who taunts
Midnight thoughts
voyeur of
my lurid mind

I traced the rough edges of the sculpture and the gargoyle giggled, spraying water. Scrambling away on all-fours, my palms were torn by gravel until my back met the fountain. 'No, the cherubs,' the Gargoyle gargled, as sharp teeth sank into my shoulder, petrifying.

I was just contemplating the world when my teacher told me to pay attention! I glared down at my notebook with the words, "Imagination is more important that knowledge," before I doodled Hello Kitty.

I never received candy from the teacher's that day.

The rain never stopped
tear drops pouring out
all night long...
Nothing has changed
integrity been questioned
again & again
Standing in witness box
false accusations
staying silent...
Guilty for nothing
hurt deep inside
screaming for peace...

Do not haunt future
Greedy corruption monstrosity
You defiled Existence Temple
Built your bloody mansions
on piles of dead animals
and hungry children
You parade your nefarious wealth
in front of the weak ones
I to Nemesis to ravage you
with Anathema

It was about time
to collect
indigo ransom
Our names
have been moved
to benefit
the erudite
and the mirror
reveals the purge
Light struggles down
to an insolvent
landscape
Awaiting the next surge

Silent love letters,
written in the silence of my mind
for my absent wunderkind.
I wonder if you still remember me,
and all of what could be?
Decades past,
our love didn’t last
and your absence still fetters,
leaving me filled
with silent love letters.

for what it’s worth
I’d choose
to dream
in the shadows of midnight
to drown
in your supernova eyes
to dance
to our celestial lullaby
to breath
the same air
to love you
for one more dark night

you never say my name
a lonely stocking
falls in lassitude
Sundays leak monotony and coolness
of winds
the perfection of the afternoon's poplars
dreams are blue
this spring will come
without you
