First we did an Eryops colony, followed by the Lystrosaurus valley, of course the Gigantopithecus bamboo forest had to be a thing and we ended with the Austroraptor waterfall.

In particular, his Gigantopithecus and the "were-tiger" pieces are what inspired me to draw this.

In short, it's not at all a good reference for what Gigantopithecus would've actually looked like. I see paleoartists using it way too often because they're unaware of its background. Use this amazing skull of the closely related Sivapithecus (GSP 15000) instead.

Imma say it straight up, Bigfoot is not Gigantopithecus. I’m not saying it to be mean but the evidence just doesn’t add up and if we keep looking there we’re gonna hit a dead end. If Sasquatch is real it’s a descendent of another animal.
