Just a gorgonopsid and their little gorgonopsids.
Meet Clelandina; a small-medium Gorgonopsid from the Karoo region of South Africa; Late Permian. It had a somewhat shorter, rounder snout; characteristic of the Rubidgeine Gorgonopsids, but otherwise it closely resembled its kin.
@FeetGecko Here he is, this is a recent concept sheet, he's still being developed. I love gorgonopsids but they are very uncommon. I've only really seen one other active gorg
@LuisTheFoxxo Idk I just saw them and was like, yuh that's me. Gorgonopsids were never my favorite animal or anything, but for some reason I vibe with them lol

this is a rly good science-for-non-scientists book imo, w lots of good analogies and visual metaphors. eg, "skulls like gigantic staple removers" p much nailed gorgonopsids.
r. atrox was closely related to dinogorgon which has the most badass name of any animal ever therefore some people mightve heard of it. i find it interesting how gorgonopsids had limited post canine dentition, how many choked to death on bones?
