#paleoart
Evening folks. Last drawing for this year; kicking it off with Guanlong; a small Proceratosaurid theropod. Proceratosaurids like Guanlong were early Tyrannosauroids and generally seem to have had display crests adorning their skulls.

I start my new project, Tyrannosaurids series, I will illustrate all existing Tyrannosaurids. The first one we have is this Guanlong wucaii.
I show the old versions that were made through time.
Finished my Guanlong! Would anyone be interested in one? I have a design based on Reeves pheasants right now I might sell

Could Guanlong have a large keratin sheath on the crest like Dilophosaurus?
O Guanlong poderia ter uma grande bainha de queratina na crista como o Dilophosaurus?

Dino Fact!
Guanlong (Crown Dragon) is a tyrannosauroid from Late Jurassic China! Its name comes from the distinct head crest! The two currently known skeletons are of an adult and juvenile and from them, we know that the crest grew larger- (1/2)

First it’s a proceratosaurid and probably the most unique in contrast to Guanlong and Proceratosaurus. Then again proceratosaurids are a rather unique group of tyrannosaurs.
