'Winter skies over Helvellyn' 24x12" This painting was inspired from a photo I took last week. 5 minutes before I took it, the sun was shining, lighting up the fields and tops of the fells- within minutes we had horizontal hail, sleet and snow

Man's best friend: Charles Gough, died in a fall on Helvellyn, in 1805. He was accompanied by his dog Foxie, who stayed by his side for three months until his body was discovered.
