Aunque PSYCHO no fue la única en usar ese mismo truco en 1960. En HORROR HOTEL también teníamos a una joven rubia que conduce sola a un motel extraño y es asesinada en la mitad de la película. No fue una imitación, ya que estaba en producción incluso antes del film de Hitchcock.
