One of the most challenging illustrations in "Gaspard's Christmas" by was the opening spread of a London skyline. Gaspard, an Islington fox, wouldn't really see very much. But an imagined search for food takes him to Parliament Hill, reimagined in the snow & the dark!

in 1828, two anatomists Dr Riley & Dr Wallis were fined £6 after being caught in Brislington churchyard STEALING A CADAVER.

Both men were noted anatomists but not very good at body snatching it would appear...
