LIMERICK (2/2)

To the right there's Ian, the lead engineer and builder of the Limerick. He's a lot more tired and apathetic than the rest of the crew, but has a few sparks of interest that drive him along. Finally, Chrysia is a god of destruction wrapped in a very soft shell.

LIMERICK (1/2)

This was an attempted comic about a near-future mercenary band of the warship CPS Limerick. The crew is lead by Chalkou, an overworked, short-tempered genius military tactician, and Tetsu an equally bright but indecisive second-incommand.

Something I may not have shown you on here. I can't even remember when I painted it - which is ironic as its called "Remembering". Is at least 13 years old, and was large for me. Sold to a good home in Limerick.

Here is a DND Oni OC of mine, Izami, The Four Horned Countess. I swear she’s canonically she’s a redhead, but her hair color does change.
She is a former adventurer Samurai who’s retired, and now she is the delightful proprietor of The Passionate Limerick.

The internet informs me I first posted this little piece 8 years ago today! Inspired by Edward Lear's delightful limerick...

There was an Old Man with a beard,
Who said, "It is just as I feared!—
Two Owls and a Hen, four Larks and a Wren,
Have all built their nests in my beard.

Ode to the (new Aztec limerick...)
The great ritual sport known as 'tlachtli'
Was the word for the COURT itself, actually.
This game of such fame
That could leave players lame
Was 'ullamaliztli' - well, naturally!

Limerick has so much to be proud of in these women. There is another book just out about women who helped shape Ireland; I don’t know who is included. Some talented writer out there could easily devote a whole book only to women from Limerick...
