Fae Queens: The series so far. :) Litha, Lughnasadh, Beltane, and Samhain. I do mostly portrait stuff.

A day later than I wanted to be, but I wish everyone, especially the Zardy's Maze folks, a bountiful harvest this year

Happy (late) Lughnasadh, everyone! 🌽🍎🎃

Blessings of Lammas! (aka Lughnasadh, feast of the Irish sun god Lugh). It is the first summer harvest festival (Offering of First Fruits), midway between summer solstice and autumn equinox. Traditionally celebrated August 1, or when the sun enters 15 degrees of Leo, (August 6).

When it was actually Lughnasadh, I completely forgot to do some art for it. This is a Celtic festival / holiday celebrating the start of the harvest season. COVID kinda threw a wrench in how my family usually celebrates but I still love the start of the season!

Wishing everyone a blessed Lammas /|\

Lammas or Lughnasadh, marks the beginning of fall, the noticeable descent of the Sun into the darkness of winter. Thoughts of transformation, death and rebirth are also part of Lughnasadh.

Happy Beltaine everyone.

Today, we miss my second-favorite of the fire festivals, after Lughnasadh, and it sounds like we will miss Lughnasadh as well.

Stay strong, stay healthy, stay 6 feet away.

Today is Lughnasadh, the first day of the Harvest season. As climate change disrupts our planet’s ecosystem, we have to think about what this means for traditional Pagan celebrations. Will harvest times adapt? Will foods different parts of the world harvest have to change?
