- Luna moths do not have mouths, so they can't eat! They only live for about a week, and their sole purpose is mating.

These moths can be found in Southeast Nebraska.

Recently, Brian Brodrick donated a mammoth lower jaw to the State Museum. This juvenile individual was approximately 3-5 years old when it died based on the teeth preserved in the jaw. This one-million-year-old specimen was found in south-central Nebraska.

So... yeah. Been a long time, hasn't it? But I'm safe, everything's out of my car and I'm settling in. Have to get use to the time zone change, but so far I'm liking the new surroundings. Despite how much of a long drive it was, it was beautiful.... except for Nebraska.

Windy.
