Some of the better Alter events come from characters gaining something new as opposed to being set dressing for someone else's story. Thorns has always had this odd relationship with Iberia, growing up poor, then under the guidance of someone who is ultimately a threat.

Shading in things manually like this helps create natural variation in the shadows making it much less "sterile" as opposed to just using the fill tool.

If you want a less digital look, using methods of coloring closer to traditional is the best thing to do.

The belt also was changed slightly, with the Diamond being made bigger and with its outline removed. The bottom black stripes also melts into trunks, like how the 60’s suit looked. The belt’s also gained a more Amber-yellow look as opposed to the bright yellow.
