-rim lighting/outside reflective outlines! really easy to do, just copy colors and lines to a new layer, flatten, make it one color and move it a bit outward. the ones here I threw some bloom onto, lightly blended in parts, and used lightpen to light the inner parts selectively

Jet Set Dalmatian Future!

I've never played Jet Set Radio Future, but its visual style (and No More Heroes') - cel-shaded 3D - really jives with me. But you've got to have those (relatively) thicc black outlines!
