I really don't have a favorite dinosaur because my favorite prehistoric animals are from the Paleozoic
Those rocks representing 'ancestral' mountain ranges were eroded down to almost nothing over the next 600 million years. Then, in the Paleozoic Era, the land rose and fell, leading to the encroachment of a shallow sea. Sedimentary rocks formed.

@PotatoesTommy @VenusOsiris @BrianBrachiopod @2013HerIndoors @AngharadBond Actually those were Paleozoic oceans. And swimming there might've been an excellent experience.
Request: Conularia (paleozoic cnidarian).

Manifesting Paleozoic support in the form of Paleozoic Eurypterid someday. Maybe it could fill the role that Toad does after it inevitably gets banned again
Diplocaulus was a Paleozoic amphibian, notable for it's big 'ol boomerang head. Some theories as to why it developed such an unusual shape include external gills, defensive measures, mating, or generating lift to make it more hydrodynamic.

The name's Lori! I'm an amateur paleoartist looking to be an illustrator as a career, I mostly restore non-avian dinosaurs but I sometimes dabble in Paleozoic and Cenozoic fauna too...

Representing the nautiloids we have the Chambered Nautilus, known for its spiral that seems to emulate the golden-ratio. These buddies have been around since the Paleozoic, what do they know that we don’t?

I regret not having really MADE any Meg art yet. AAAA but... I guess I just. Tbh dove right into other chondrichthyans. Ctenacanths. Eugeneodonts. A lot of Mesozoic sharks. Pictured are Paleozoic and Mesozoic chondrichthyans that I love a lot. Interests just differ https://t.co/nbtqjE0Eyc
#ExtinctFishoftheDay: Sinogaleaspis, a member of the Galeaspida, a group of mid-Paleozoic armored jawless fishes exclusive to China and SE Asia. The central slit is a spiracle-like opening leading to the gills, the real mouth is beneath! 🎨Shan et al. 2020 @eLife @ZhuEarlyFishLab
My second big Dicynodont done so far, one of the biggest Paleozoic species of the African Late Permian, Rhachiocephalus belongs to a group characterized by their very elongated and massive skulls, some of them with ornamental rugosities across its face.
