Thank you Rae! Hi ! I often use erasure on my own photographs, ripping them to pieces and many different layers, sculpting those into something new-painting throughout to create. I know could possibly fit in here as well as
example of my art

‘Rolling seas’

The ocean transports me to a place beyond the present- I don’t even have to physically be there but in seeing photographs, artwork or even a resemblance of the colors, it calms me and refreshes me.

"The Drizzling Glow of the Ocean" by Nancy Staub Laughlin is a beautiful and mesmerizing pastel on paper with mounted photographs, 25″ x 32″. It exemplifies her superb unique concept of the “still life”. https://t.co/5JxvOzACMZ

Army art!
Donald Akroyd of 4 Durham Survey Regiment kept this caricature of himself which was sketched in 1942. He donated it to us along with his photographs, memoir, and other wartime memorabilia.

it's not about fast consumption, but about studying every detail, that's the essence of photographs, that's the meaning of art

So happy to send this artwork to as my gift for collecting "Rhapsody in Blue". This was the biggest part of creating this artwork. Layers and layers of erasure used on my own photographs, sculpted and further painted.

Thank you so much again!!

Here I develop my favorite direction in art - collage art!
I have always liked retro futurism, so I use old photos with a public domain license. In old photographs, it seems to me there is more soul.

honestly i’ve never really thought about how visually impaired people would take photographs, so this is really cool!
