The Max Rebo Fan Club, which had Tik Tali Talosh as president of the group's Derf Chapter, was a fan club dedicated to the eponymous musician.
Something that came up from @KirkThatcher in the Creatures of ROTJ panel was how the design of Max Rebo was inspired by a Moebius illustration in The Long Tomorrow. I’ve been scouring the books for it & have had no luck. I see the probe droid panel but has anyone ever found Max?
Honestly the rebo t is more realistic in terms of outfit and gear.
The reboot having a civillian clothing and a blue cloth, while holding an early 20th century rifle.
The original on the other hand have military grade gear because he joined a criminal group for cash.

SY SNOOTLES was a Pa’lowick singer in the Max Rebo Band that played Jabba’s palace.
From the planet Lowick, Sy Snootles was not only a singer but also a spy and a part-time bounty hunter. She was in love with Ziro the Hutt for a time, but he abandoned her later. #StarWars 👇👇
