I wanted to share some of my other creatures before Spectember was over.

Since Planet of the Apes is trending, drew this a few years ago as a one shot. I would LOVE to have a sci fi short story, where the Apes realize they're not the only sapient beings on the planet.

Gimme Elephants, Crows and Parrots etc.

And that concludes my "What if Humans Domesticated Prehistoric Creatures for less practical reasons" series for this Spectember!

My last post for Spectember... It is a miniaturized rideable hadrosaur. Inspired by how the Shetland Pony's iconic size is meant to help riders on the terrain of the island.

Day 29: Cryptid

There was a lot of choice here.
Do I go with something popular or obscure?
Actually feasible or completely absurd?

Ultimatly I picked the weird critter that is the Tripodero!

Catchup Day 27: Atmospheric Organism
Somewhere in another Gas Giant, Life thrives in it's clouds and oceans of vapor, as creatures with wings, bladders, and jets, with unique colorations, and appendages, soar throughout the planet

Catchup Day 25: Flying Crustaceans
With pleopods and an abdomen specialized for respiration for air. as well as light flat wing-flippers, these Shrimps are analogous to Flying Fish. On a world where there's no vertebrates with a thick atmosphere, they thrive

Day 27: Atmospheric Organism

Was kinda struggling to get the initial idea here and I didn't want to go with the typical sky jellyfish. But eventually I landed on this critter here and I'm pretty happy with how it turned out!

Almost forgot to post this spec bio piece for spectember. A clown if it were a real animal. Based off of other colorful primates like mandrill, blue egg monkey and other vibrant mammals.

Day 23: Lightless World
On a world whose ecosystems are powered by it's strong geothermal chemicals and wind currents, one such creature is Escharfar. These grazers sense the world through 6 finger-esc sensor, and one sonar disc, as well as a gaping mouth and 8 limbs

Day 22: Zero Gravity
Back in the Cylinder of Day 8, many other lifeforms exist, some of whom have adopted jet propulsion. Such as the Saramith, a descendant of Tegus with a specialized anal jet, and teeth designed to grind down on flora around the Zero G environment

Day 20: The Void of Space
Taking place in the same world as Day 5 and 13, These Machines are a part of Offworld, a Factory located on the Moon of the Machine Planet. This unit traverse and locates resources, moving with fins and jets, powered by biofuel & solar power

Day 20: Void of Space

As we all know, space is an ocean; and in the ocean, there are kraken!

They move through space by ejecting gas out of the large vents on their back and can alter their color to blend into the stars around them, making them quite the threat.

Happy Spectember! Here are some doodles I did for it - a Titan from All Tomorrows (which I was into BEFORE IT WAS COOL DAMN IT) and an azhdarchid-esqe flying pig from my original setting the Midnightverse!

In the same Machine World as day 5 & 13, Factories are always competing against each other and making new factories, and specifically Parasite Units are used to steal and process rival factory's data using viruses and hacks
