Today's warm-up! An Armorhead punting a longbowman. Because there's always a need for more speculative/fantasy boars!

From 's Dragonslayer Codex.

Did this a while ago. Inspired by and 's dinosaurids.

And finally, a fully grown male Boaraceratops. The boar is a mountain of muscle and fury, with bright markings that signal both its fitness and a challenge to others.

Not a good runner, so it fights back the most.

The Boaraceratops, late juvenile form (left) and young adult (right). At these stages of life, they begin to exhibit far more aggression towards potential predators. They also leave the protection of their parents as young adults.

Well, since the Tyrannotiger got so popular, here's critter no. 2 of the hybrid series: the Boaraceratops. Combines the omnivory and ecological destructiveness of a boar, the size and strength of Triceratops, and the angry-ness of both

A new No Man's Land update! First of a series called "Parallel Lives of the Keas", in which we explore the lives of two Kea populations, one from native New Zealand, and one introduced in Cincinatti.

A few concepts for a speculative late cretaceous mammal w/ an arboreal lifestyle akin to what primates/other tree dwellers would follow post-Kpg extinction.

The final, adult form of the Tyrannotiger, Disruptor of Ecosystems. It corresponds with, of course, the Tiger, and is large enough and powerful to challenge and hunt anything.

Third Growth Stage of the Tyrannotiger! As a young adult, it packs on a ton of muscle, and now is very much capable of shattering bones. Corresponds with a Jaguar.

Warm Up!

Second growth stage of the Tyrannotiger, this time correspending to a leopard. Still quick, but puts more emphasis on agility. Hunts medium sized prey.

31 198

The Crimson Maw, a giant (like 60-70ft) lamprey that evolved to live in deserts, mimicking watering holes by filling its mouth with stored water and then grabbing prey with two prehensile, toothed tongues.

My warm-ups for the next few days is gonna be this: A T.rex spliced with a Tiger, where every major stage of its growth corresponds to a different cat.

Here it is as a youngster, equivalent to a cheetah analogue.

misread angulate tortoises as ungulate tortoises, antics ensued
(call my tortippo a dicynodont and i'll travel back in time and make sure those ugly things never evolved)

An old sophont new world monkey design on mine, a sort of "alternate human"
