Yellow Wollywog from Pikmin 3 is today's Pikmin Creature of the Day!

In the UK the names of the Wollywogs and Wogpoles had to be changed to Wollyhops and Wolpoles, respectively. This is because ‘wog’ is considered offensive there.
This change started in the New Play Control versions of Pikmin 1 and 2.
Yellow Wollywogs from PNF-404 have green eyes, while the ones from Hey!Pikmin’s planet have brown eyes. The same applies to their younger forms, Wogpoles and Young Yellow Wollywogs.
The reason why Wollywogs may seem so cruel and bloodthirsty is because they want revenge. Captain Charlie suggests that they remember being so small and helpless as a Wogpole, and lash out at the rest of the world when they mature.
