- Megalithic Architecture
Rev James Bulwer painted these atmospheric watercolour views of Stanton Drew, Somerset, in the 1820/30s. The structure had long been noted by antiquarians - the first detailed map and drawings had been made by William Stukeley in 1723.

10/32 Co. Dublin In the 1990s on a big housing site in Ballycullen, at the foot of the Dublin mountains, a builder found a Late BA cup-ended ornament or ‘dress-fastener’ - a fibula to antiquarians. Luckily it wasn’t mistaken for a fancy doorpull.
