I’ve been seeing a lot of paleoartists quoting Stanley meltzoff as an inspiration lately.
I thought I’d bring back my #artinspirations series to hopefully get more marine artists on the radar!
I’ve always been a fan of how Al Barnes painted water surfaces
Enchanting music
Will drop tonight on my lofi and chill collection on wazirx
Hope you like it
Thanks for all the support

It’s been a long while since I’ve done a #Artinspirations
I’ve always been a fan of Robert Seabecks smooth lighting and use of color
#artinspirations another classic wildlife and bird artist that inspires me is Francis Lee Jacques(1887-1969). He had a very simple, bold, but effective use of form that made his paintings stand out among the rest

Bringing this series back!
One of my favorite ornithological artists Louis Agassiz Fuertes was very clearly inspired by his predecessor Audobon, but I feel his art has its own unique charm that sets it aside in its own right.

I wanted to finish this off with a contemporary artist that I have the privilege of knowing @VilleSinkkonen Ville’s stunning artistic style and amazing knowledge of anatomy is a huge inspiration to me I’ve learned more from observing their art then anywhere else

Wow I’ve been researching bird art since I’ve been painting more extinct birds recently and Francisco Jose Hernandez has made me immediately feel like the stuff I’m working on is incredibly simple and uninspired in contrast

Known for his historical art Stanley meltzoff (1917-2006) is one of my favorite artists when it comes to depictions of marine wildlife. His art is full of energy, color and unique compositions that is usually lacking in art of fish and is a breath of fresh air.
Starting a series where I share my artistic influences.
starting with Rob Bateman, born in 1930 Bateman’s work is mostly acrylic paintings of the wildlife of British Columbia.
In my opinion his mastery of misty and atmospheric scenes is unparalleled #artinspirations
