.@ladbible Loch Ness was formed when the Celtic Winter Queen, the Caillech Bheur, was enraged when her assistant, Nessa, was late to attend her duties. As punishment, the Caillech transformed Nessa into the River Ness. She would eventually escape & stretched to become Loch Ness!
Bheuran went through a more crocodile like phase too, just so happened to coincide with the """"beach episode""". But once I got the square headed design down(thanks to @bennflynt's amazing depictions for that) he became a lot more fun to draw
here are some of my second dnd character, Bheuran, both from very early on and his more recent redesigns. including some real life on paper art
I red-skinned my Green Hag so this week’s set of #dnd #paperminis will include a Bheur Hag!

Bheur hags become more active during winter, using their ice and weather magic to make life miserable for nearby settlements.
A bheur hag carries a twisted gray wooden staff that can be ridden like a flying broom and that augments the hag's magic.

In Scottish folklore, Cailleach Bheur, the Queen of Winter, is also a creation deity, credited with making the mountains of the Highlands with her magic hammer. A one-eyed giantess with white hair and blue skin, Ben Nevis was her mountain throne. #FolkloreThursday
