The last time I tried DMing a D&D campaign in a homebrew setting, I tried to reflavour the golaiths into blemmyes to spice things up and make them more unique in a way.
Suffice to say nobody was keen on the idea.
I'd like to explore more regarding these headless ones, or Blemmyes as they are called. Are they still around? Can we get one on the BTR stream?

Mythical headless men have been rumoured to exist in remote parts of the world since antiquity. These men come in two forms, eyes in the chest and eyes in the shoulders, both lacking heads. They are sometimes referred to as Blemmyes.
