One of my absolute favs for is THE PRINCE AND THE DRESSMAKER 12-15 follows a prince in 19th century Paris who likes to dress as Lady Crystallia and his dressmaker. Their friendship is everything. ❤️❤️📚

You could try the Isadora Moon books (age 6/7+) which are very sweet friendship and family stories about a girl who is half vampire, half fairy. Really well written and the illustrations are a treat.

Weird,perhaps, but I love reading aloud in Irish (Kids arent in Gaelscoil but they tolerate me). are the go-to for bks as-gaelige. New version of an old fairytale Clusa Capaill an Ri is fab. They even have trnsltions of all your kids favourite bks 7/10
