The BP Portrait Award 2020 Exhibition opens at the Aberdeen Art Gallery today and runs until the 24th of January 2021. I'm delighted that my portrait of Sir Lenny Henry will be on display and I’m looking forward to visiting the exhibition.

The National Portrait Gallery is sadly closed to visitors, but if it’s safe for you to visit, you can see work from a number the artists selected for this years BP Portrait Award show in the CBPP’s ‘Perceptions’ Exhibition, as the Cass Art store in Islington reopens.

Sadly but not unexpectedly the Award closed early & won't tour to Ulster Museum (April-June). I've loved being in the show & was thrilled to get in with my portrait of , a committed NHS doctor. Thanks Ronx & all woking in the NHS 🙏🏿

Louis Smith’s cityscapes have been popular, and people are shocked when I show them the type of work he is more recognised for.
Holly from the BP Portrait award in 2011, people are still talking about this painting many years on.
