Just finished where I learned about this (and definitely recommend, amazing cinematography.)

Just finished watching Matteo Garrone’s 2019 version of PINOCCHIO. Beautifully realised. Amazing acting and cinematography. It’s the best version of Carlo Collodi’s Italian fairy tale. A must see. No lie 😉

It isn’t even just the stunning visuals, well choreographed fights, or the eccentric cinematography. It’s thematically rich with writing that had me completely enthralled. It’s unbridled love for humanity is the beating heart of this film and it’s a lesson I will carry with me

shone when it didn’t follow Marvel tropes.

~ Wonderful tribute to Chadwick 🙏🏻
~ Sophisticated, stunning use of music.
~ Beautiful Autumn Durald Arkapaw cinematography.
~ Powerful performances. Letitia Wright is a new favourite.

Just finished Thar on Netflix. Excellent Neo-Western/Masala Western. Very slow burn with beautiful cinematography.

Air Force One: Selagi Bernyawa

I had low expectations. Janky CGI here and there but it's okay cuz..

Solid script. Solid acting. Solid cinematography. Not to mention, A LOT OF WORDLESS STORYTELLING 💯💯💯

It deserves all the praise it's getting.

Please, go watch it.

Study. Brilliant lightning in these first episode, I really appreciated the cinematography.

I think I just watched a movie in manga format. A comic with cinematography. Neither analogy does Goodbye, Eri justice. Fujimoto's blown me away again.

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness (2022)
More like Multiverse of MIDness amirite? Well that was what I was gonna say till near the end. Still, it's a huge downgrade from the first one in terms of acting, storytelling and cinematography. This one's pretty forgettable.

The music video of is unique. It's surreal, I love the cinematography. Talk about a high-quality music video, and you'll realize that it can be done right here in our own country. I am beyond proud of and his entire team.

Well that certainly lived up to its name🤪

Insane cameos, mind bending visuals (my head hurts) and beautiful cinematography. Just a shame there wasn’t too much emotional weight behind it all. Still, a worthwhile experience!

50) World's End Harem (2022)

I'm shocked about the fact that this Anime had a decently executed plot and at times comparatively interesting cinematography.
I expected nothing going in and for being by far not the worst show I watched this season I can only applaud it.

Bruh nobody asked a damn Sonic the Hedgehog movie for cinematography.

They didn't have to go this hard.

Lord.

Planet of the Vampires (1965) - Despite it’s paper thin characters and low budget, this Mario Bava film still delivers somewhat effective tension with it’s colorful, but dark and stylized cinematography.

'Dune' has received an nomination for Best Picture and Best Cinematography.

The flawed but enjoyable film Godzilla vs. King Ghidorah would be the last Heisei Godzilla film to have genuinely impressive cinematography. While Koichi Kawakita's special effects work is a step down from Godzilla vs. Biollante, King Ghidorah is a very well-shot film.

I love all the contrasting colours that depict the different settings, temperature, tone and motifs. From cool watery pastels and earthy reds (Atreides), sickly greens and blacks (Harkonnen) to opulent golds (The Emperor).

That sweet Freddie Francis cinematography.

I keep drooling over the Environments and cinematography. I keep pausing to admire them!

What is the key to successful visual storytelling? A willingness to collaborate, the flexibility to evolve, & an understanding of the basic rules of cinematography.

At its absolute apex, it outstrips every other ImageMovers mo-cap flick for my money. Some of that's nostalgia talking, but a lot of that is the genuinely phenomenal cinematography.
