@yseeart 1st: Cat
Now (keeping it to *main* sonas only): Dragons, Alligator, Coelacanth, Demon persona
I do still have a big cat fursona but overall I've always been more conneted to reptiles, especially dragons and alligators! So it was the obvious choice. xD
Some current sonas:
getting the ball rolling on artfight this year(: some attacks i did for SalineCoelacanth, charliethetrex, and HyperFluff!
As noted, some animals are in the process of being revamped. In this post, we spotlight the okapi, snow leopard, West Indian manatee, fossa, West Indian Ocean coelacanth, sun conure, cheetah, and the tomistoma!
@AMNH @okamisalamii @Mevaughnk Soon as we left we started talking about coming back!❤
Also absolutely loved the look at preservation in "six ways to prepare a coelacanth," Was a great watch before visiting, adore the story of the coelacanth& the Pokémon inspired by the living fossil 🐟https://t.co/lQXGJSsTZC
Honestly, Relicanth is one of my favourite fish pokemon 🐟
Relicanth is based on the Coelacanth, a fish thought to have gone extinct 65mya, but 2 species have been found living in the Indian and Pacific Oceans after the fish was discovered again in the 30s!
Here's Eliza the Coelacanth, my #FISHSONA (even though my main sona is a leopard I enjoy all species!).
Art heavily referenced from other art (for pose and such).
Edge is angry because she's a Coelacanth, no a Lionfish (which would have been more suitable because her ''real form'' is a porcupine, but alas... sorry, girl). https://t.co/Bkp17RY19a
The recently deceased Bryan Sykes' book contains a chapter entitled "The Guru" about @CryptoLoren & the International Cryptozoology Museum. I was honored. Sykes' son did the header art of a #coelacanth, the logo species of the ICM. Doubly honored. https://t.co/rM3iy61hJK
the coelacanth, #lostandfound by science. for todays #pixel_dailies @Pixel_Dailies #pixelart #ドット絵
Day 9 of #Mermay2019! Today's #Creature_Feature #mermay prompt from @ZestyDoesThings was #coelacanth, and I rolled human. I originally set out for something more spooky, but she wound up being a bit of a hip granny instead. #Traditionalart because I was at work. See you tomorrow!
Another #SundayFishSketch, this time the extinct coelacanth, #Rebellatrix
Deliciously strange Triassic coelacanth, named for late, great Peter Forey #openaccess in @SciReports on #FossilFriday https://t.co/uQVtG5TYrV
Prehistoric fishies! Thinking of making stickers out of these guys. coelacanth, dunkleosteus, and haikouichthys. Seen earlier on my patreon, along with WIP and PSD files https://t.co/YYOIHAoWMs
