Giving Eggman a daughter is fine. Dont know how that will be integrated going forward. My only assumption is she will be teamed up with Orbot and Cubot and turn into some Doronjo/Devilotte type gang that harasses sonic and friends which would be great if executed right.

Nope, he was programmed with free will and then he decided to save Sonic during their fight, he would later on change his ways and his identity to Shard.

Let's not forget that some of Eggman creations are programmed with free will and a personality, like Cubot and Orbot.
