SnubiDailyTip: Sometimes taking a break doesn’t necessarily mean taking a break from drawing, it means taking a break and entering an uncomfortable spot. Finding success in different avenues you haven’t explored are the experiences that eventually lead to your big break.
SnubiDailyTip: It’s important to be confident. Confidence will pull you out of burn out, it will make you fearless, it’ll help you approach and overcome weaknesses. Being confident is being brave. I’m not afraid to post bad art, i’m afraid to stagnate. You’ll get there. Trust me.
SnubiDailyTip: YOU DON’T NEED A TABLET/CINTIQ/IPAD TO LEARN. Stop focusing on tools, learn the thought process. Sure I buy great stuff, but it wasn’t long ago I was using a bambo over a Cintiq... i had both. Don’t ask. Use what you can to learn what you can. Stop waiting.
SnubiDailyTip: When drawing stop focusing on the line, imagine the form and place the tip of your utensil where you feel it begins and end. Observe the full image and expand your field of vision. Look at your drawing in full. There should be harmony from top to bottom.
