We did today an Ediacara touch tank, the Anteosaurus valley, a Drepanosaurus aviary and our own little Solnhofen lagoon.
Many thanks again for the hospitality @museocsnbergamo ! Here is a little preview of our models. The thalattosaur Edennasaurus & the basal? diapsid Drepanosaurus both bizarre animals are from the Norian of Lombardy (Italy). More soon! #FossilFriday #paleontology @Artec3DScanners
My #Drepanomania entry is based around Hypuronector descendants rather than Drepanosaurus ones, in a timeline where pterosaurs didn't succeed. #sciart
Pastel Paleotober Day 14: Drepanosaurus 🦎
Drepanosaurus was a Triassic reptile from Italy sporting a bird-like head and a clawed, prehensile tail. This strange combination of features arose during a burst of evolution following the most severe mass extinction in history.
Threat display.
One of the many Triassic oddball reptiles, Drepanosaurus was seemingly a cross between a chameleon and an anteater. Nice to do a personal piece once in a while, even if it is just a little drawing.
Drew this Drepanosaurus~ ✨ With a hump back, large index claws, chonky tail and a tail claw they are definitely some of the most interesting bone specimens of extinct reptiles that I've ever seen~ 🦴🦎✨
Bi Drepanosaurus for Natalia! #LGBTSTEMDay https://t.co/I36QD7CSEk

not-#dinovember day 17, Drepanosaurus! I love these guys because they basically just have cartoony lizard proportions
Drepanosaurus: genus of tree-dwelling reptiles that lived during the Triassic Era,~250-201MYA. They were insectivores & lived on coastal spots of what is modern-day Italy& midwestern USA. Discovered in 1979. They had hooked tails to aid in climbing&holding branches. #FossilFriday
