In Welsh mythology, Rhiannon was Queen of Dyfed. She was linked to a horse goddess and had three magical birds which could "wake the dead and lull the living to sleep".

Just watched a red kite cruising over Wells. I've seen dozens above Dyfed and plenty along the M4, but this is only the 2nd I've seen in Someret. A good day.
