This result could be cherry-picked, as well. Different training/parameters and text-encoding just means that prompting may work differently for each, but with a few changes, you can get some goodies.

Both examples of problems with character encoding in anime subs that I can think of were when the subs worked on the original site, but not on the second site.
E.g. "Laḫmu" worked on Funimation but didn't on CR.
The ellipsis (…) and En dash (–) worked on HiDive but not CR.

Overall I’m really impressed with Krita still, I remember feeling like the brushes were it’s best quality back in the day but honestly… it’s really improved.
My biggest gripe? It’s a resource hog. And I’m wondering will it work on stream WITH obs encoding 🤔
