Day 3: Salmon Shark (Least Concern)

Salmon sharks are endothermic, which allows them to maintain a body temperature above the temperature of the water.

This was inspired by capturing footage of a salmon shark interacting with a log.

For this week's red and/or white and/or blue themed I drew an opah, which is all three, AND is endothermic!! And also just looks like the most chipper and cheerful fish ever, throwing up its pectoral fins like "Yay!"
