Around this time last year, I made these two pieces in an almost manic state in response to the atrocities that my government was committing against its protesting youth. A whole year later it still bares its cowardly fangs at us.

A match against the oppressors,
A walk towards freedom,
A fight to attain a better future,
Everything was going well but the leader of yesterday who are still the leaders of today won't let the leaders of tomorrow achieve

This is a special piece. It was created in 2020 which was a chain of events both for me an around the world. I had not felt as frustrated, bound and emotionally indifferent. I lost a friend, work and countrymen (EndSars).
I can't relieve this.
Bondage.

During the movement, I came across a picture of a woman with her baby who came out to join the protest; I was moved to recreate the picture artistically to suit the scenario as my own way of showing solidarity.
Original copy of the artwork is very much available.Pls rt
