@C64Reloaded Of course, if people have an emulator or an EasyFlash cartridge, by far the best way to enjoy the Games games is via the "Epyx Games Collection" cartridge. 👍 This one lets you merger Summer Games 1 and 2 events in Summer Games 2 too. 😁

Great C64 Moments #15 – Summer Games
Coinciding with the 1984 LA Olympics, Summer Games was the first of Epyx’s legendary ‘Games’ series that hooked C64 gamers for the rest of the decade. With ace animation, superb sound and varied gameplay, it was a truly state-of-the-art game.

I don't remember if I pointed this out before, but all the screens in both versions of the G.I.JOE HQ background are redrawn mini versions of game screens and the Epyx game is in there twice.
That new Cobra background is based on a one-on-one stage from the Epyx video game, one of my favorites for the Commodore 64.

My Favourite C64 Beat ‘em ups No.11
Championship Wrestling
Epyx
1986
My fave C64 wrestling game, Championship Wrestling is a typically classy Epyx title with superb presentation, loads of smart touches, excellent graphics, lots of humour & engaging & very enjoyable gameplay.
My Favourite C64 Platformers No.1
Impossible Mission
Epyx 1983
My all-time favourite C64 game. When I first played it in 84 it blew my mind; the speech, animation, depth of gameplay was like nothing I'd ever seen. It still plays superbly today, and I still absolutely adore it.
My favourite C64 Sports Sims – No.12
Summer Games
Epyx 1984
Another game inspired by the '84 Olympics, Summer Games is the 1st of the legendary Epyx ‘Games’ series. A class act with outstanding presentation & graphics for 1984, & more varied gameplay than most Olympics games.
My Favourite Games of 1986 – No.2
World Games
Everything about World Games is quality. Freed from the Olympics-theme, Epyx came up with 8 wonderfully quirky events that are huge fun, peppered with comic touches & packed with super-addictive gameplay. World Games = World Class.
My Favourite Games of 1985 – No.5
Winter Games
Epyx topped the podium with this awesome game. The presentation is fantastic, the graphics are stunning (especially the beautiful biathlon), and all 7 events are immediately playable yet challenging enough to keep you coming back.
@zappedtothe @SyntaxErrorSoft Epyx's Super Cycle was certainly pretty.. 🤔
I'm not sure what it was about it. It just never grabbed me. 🏍️
Reading up on it, it was made outside Epyx, by Novatrade, and published by Epyx. So it's no surprise some of the original feel is gone. The amazing thing is they rebuilt the whole thing from scratch. No IM1 code. So I'm impressed. They really nailed our athletic hero's mechanics.
If there is a series of games maybe everyone back in the #80s played on there #micros it's the Games Series from #epyx this is the Winter Games edition
