According to the Gold and Silver Spaceworld demo's data, plenty of cut Pokemon were in the game or restructured in the final release. Honoguma was the fire-type starter Pokemon before Cyndaquil, and was playable during that demo. Honoguma resembles a bear.

I've always loved Honoguma and I'm so happy to see it's evolution line sprites now!! I tried to tackle drawing/coloring them. Last one kinda looks like a Pyroar/Arcanine tho 😂
