I am surrounded by some very accomplished wild singing birds, but the Fantail's sinuous whistling melody stands out in the neighbourhood!

To celebrate we have some blackbirds from John Gould's 'Birds of Great Britain' vol. 2! ZSL Librarian, Ann, celebrated this morning with Blackbirds and robins started first at 4.40am with a song thrush and many wrens soon joining in.
