I’ve always had a huge soft spot for “small” ornithischians so here’s a quick dryosaurus

We know a surprising amount about external appearance. Weird hoof feet, large scales on the neck, and an appreciable amount of keratin over the beak. What’s not to love?

... tu

I've been seeing this image from the recent ornithischian paper and I can't help but be disturbed by the edmontosaurus. All the other ornithischians look goofy when facing forward but the forward-facing edmontosaurus is genuinely the most terrified I've ever been of a dinosaur.

🦖 Daily Dino 🦖: Kulindadromeus zabaikalicus

A Jurassic ornithischian that preserves both feathers and scales, giving hard proof that the two types of integuiment could coexist in non-avian dinosaurs
It also supports the theory that feathering was ancestral to all dinosaurs
