One of the most amazing animals there is Bolt, the electric eel (remember: electric eels are not eels at all, they're gymnotiforms; part of the knifefish group). Bolt was smuggled into the UK in a briefcase in 2012, and intercepted at Heathrow. She has doubled in size since then.

The pelican knifefish, Compsaraia samueli, is definitely one of my top fishes now. The extremely long jaws only develop in the breeding males during the rainy season. Wish I had better pictures of them!
