Islay Scotch: Lagavulin 16 Year

Guthrun would be best represented by a Lagavulin, no rock, definitely no ice as that would be a sin, a salty, peaty and smoky single malt whisky, with a hint of sweetness underneath what basically tastes like alcoholic shore water.

My favourite phrase from today’s Gaelic lesson:
“Tha mi a’ còcaireachd”. Definitely a case of “linguistic aesthetics” (so euphonic but also so much character!)
I also learned uisge-beatha (preferably Lagavulin, thank you very much! 🥃 😊)

Happy with the progress on this so far. I used some Oban 14 and Lagavulin 16 towards the end.
