Hi I’m George Jreije, the Arab American author of SHAD HADID AND THE ALCHEMISTS OF ALEXANDRIA!

Been having a lot of fun doing school visits and events (if you need an author for a visit, reach out!), but I also just announced my sequel! Check out this sweet cover 😊

Day 25 I would have loved to have had PLAY LIKE A GIRL as I could relate to Misty in MANY ways. I also would have loved & still know we need more books like tackling alcoholism in a very realistic manner where I could have seen myself.

Such a sweet, cozy read by and charmingly illustrated by ! An “impossibly” purrfect tale.

I seem to have mixed up my the days of A book that made me laugh out loud is The Dark Prophecy from 's Trials of Apollo series. The whole series is humorous - from the chapter titles to the warped haiku to the character's comments.

There are so many books on my TBR that I would like to read before the end of the year but these 3 are at the top of my list: Windswept by Margi Preus, Answers in the Pages by David Levithan, and The Marvellers by Dhonielle Clayton

My recent reads have been adult books (notably NONA THE NINTH) but next up on my MG to read list: NOT AN EASY WIN by (out Feb 23) and WHERE YOU'VE GOT TO BE by

I'm a big fan of Carl Pearce's expressive-yet-lifelike character design and otherworldly color palettes—so I'm very bigly excited to reveal his cover art for my debut novel WE THE FUTURE In just a few days!

Day 13 Can't pick just one. Two of my faves: Game of Stars has skateboarding rebels in the sky.
The Girl Who Drank the Moon is so lovely
