I was remembering that I wanted to have a boss rush in my game that's very much an homage to a boss in contra hard corps where a machine mixes two enemies you would have seen in the rest of the game together into a miniboss and wanted to revisit that idea

1. Buddingfly (spawns around geodes, glows, helps players find them)
2. Tardigrade (big tardigrade that eats moss, cave food)
3. Troglodyte (big angry giant miniboss that spawns in dripstone caves, throws dripstone)

first miniboss and it's pretty good! not too hard but that's to be expected
also home to the banger that is dark clouds so that's a bonus
the not-comos (spideroos) are a tad annoying but overall good stage
