I love his design but we never get a clear shot of him in the movie. This is based on both movie screenshots and photos from a prop auction.

Today's kanji is 売, sell.

Originally it was 出 (to go out) and 買 (to trade). It's been simplified quite a bit.

Mnemonic: A person standing behind a portable table for displaying goods to sell.

Good afternyan! Today I'm covering 買, meaning buy.

This one was challenging to devise a mnemonic for, but the bottom part is 貝, shellfish, so you can think of it as putting shellfish in a bag after purchasing them.

I don't really have a good mnemonic for remembering this kanji. suggested a rainbow, like over a waterfall, since that has 7 colors.

This one is pretty straightforward, only three strokes, so it was tough for me to come up with a mnemonic. But you can remember it as someone moving gracefully.

It was a bit challenging to come up with a mnemonic for this kanji, but you know the "Thinker" statue? The pose is strikingly similar to the shape of this kanji. So there you have it!
