I was thinking a modular loadout - under-wing racks that can hold either two Photon Torpedoes or two general-use Phasers. Currently I have it at 10.25m long, or less than a meter longer than the Type 4s. I dunno about underwing nacelles - looks suuper weird to me.

- rescaled the whole vessel. now 300.5 m long, 145.6 m wide, and 50.9 m tall from nacelle to keel. ten decks total.
- updated nacelle pylons; improved shape and included extra deck space at the pylon base at deck 3
- FULL IMPULSE POWER, DAMN YOU!

Looking at Nova and Defiant classes for inspiration. I always loved the Excelsior nacelles so probably using something like it and a mix of Voyager. The bottom container is gonna be...tough.

So, side effect of the heating issues: my model Enterprise has fallen apart. The left nacelle came off after we had to move the TV to get at the fuse box and the wires pulled down on it. The saucer came off just now when I tried to fix the nacelle. Pretty gutted.

I'm glad you like it! This thing was a total blast to design in-game but a nightmare to get flying properly because of that offset nacelle. I based the in-game model of a drawing I did a while back which was based on the Schira-Dow 3rd seen the film "Royal Space Force".
