Random thought, but can Dracthyr even reproduce? Were they all grown in test tubes? I'm guessing all the ones we know and can play as are essentially the first successful 'batch,' after which Neltharion abandoned the project.

Ngl, all this retrospective Dragon lore makes me really wish we had gotten to explore Neltharion and Malygos more as active characters prior to corruption and how they interacted and engaged with their Dragonflights and the other aspects.

BfA and SL obviously had a *lot* of issues, but the one thing I found compelling through both was the use of Arthas not as a character, but as a specter hanging over everything.

Over the course of alpha I've seen those same elements used with Neltharion and I like that so far.

Absolutely phenomenal choice to make them creations of Neltharion prior to his corruption. It feels so in line with his character and his flight, someone who experiments and has these unconventional ways of solving his problems.
