Zelda's most recent scientific experiments with Octoroks have proven... useful. After sending Link off on some errand she knows doesn't matter, the princess unwinds with her new favorite test subjects.
Still hyped for BOTW 2, can't wait for it!

Days 4-6 of Octorok-ber! Wanted to make up for what I missed so I chose to base some octoroks off of real octopi! Dumbo, argonaut, and blanket octopi were the references I used. Of course I gave them some fantasy changes >D

Day 3 of Octorok-ber! Starting to pick up! Took me a week last year to get somewhere. But have my missing link species between octoroks & deku scrubs! The Oca-Deku. They're mollusks with a dependency on the plants living on them. I got lore and all for them. They're just silly XD

Something that stands out on this original is that from the start, as long as your hearts are full you can attack enemies from the distance with magic beams, so right after taking the sword, the battle against my first started!

Working on this in between work / commissions. I'm really digging contrasting colors.
For instance, the green of Link being complimented by the Octoroks, which are then contrasted against the smoke / ink. Art really can be cool man.
