🦖 Daily Dino 🦖; Acheroraptor temertyorum
From the famed Hell Creek formation, this dromeosaur would have been (alongside Dakotaraptor) one of the last of its kind on earth. Teeth previously assigned to Saurornitholestes and Dromeosaurus are now thought to be from Acheroraptor
@Coolio_Art Come on dude. TLW kept the baby Rex naked when the novel gave it downy fluff, and Walking With was ahead of the times with giving the Ornitholestes quill feathers, don't act like JP has always been cutting edge. And you neglect to mention we got these guys in Dominion too.
Velociraptor and Ornitholestes quite aviary-like enclosures in Minecraft, by me and @Aksolotl131
New month, new art. Here's a head study of the small Jurassic theropod Ornitholestes.

For #FeatheredFebruary, my beautiful and kind mutuals, I give u a few birds and Ornitholestes
I've been re-retouching some of my old art in CSP. Here is the Saurornitholestes & Gorgosauruses #watercolor #paleoart
@Philoceratops Here you are:
In the first 2 pictures you see Ornitholestes and 2 Coelophysis.
En el caso del pequeño Ornitholestes el homenaje no vino en la coloración, sino en la postura, basándome en una famosa ilustración de principios del siglo XX del paleoartista Charles Knight.
Dinovember 26; This alcovasaurus finds passing ornitholestes highly suspect
This is the last page of dinos I did. The next few are a pterosaur and some marine reptiles, but still fossils from Morrison/Sundance, and I wanted to include them! #drawdinovember #dinovember2021
This partial Cryodrakon skeleton is from a juvenile. Adults may have had a 10-metre wingspan. The tibia has tooth marks and a broken Saurornitholestes tooth embedded in it, the first of its kind in a Cretaceous fossil, evidence of scavenging. Art © @MarkWitton.
